Operation Day’s Work

If you need some help getting your garden ready, you might want to use Operation Day’s Work on May 11.  Hanover High students will come and work at an hourly rate, and all wages earned go to a charity.

Parents: Do you need help around the house or yard? Would you like to
support a worthy cause? Hire Operation Day’s Work students to work at
your house or business on Wednesday May 11 from 8 AM to 12 PM. All
wages from the workday go directly to charity. Operation Day’s Work is
a national organization that raises money for a different cause each
year. Currently, we are supporting The Selamta Family Project, an
organization that builds and maintains an orphanage in Ethiopia.
Selamta is unique because it consists of 12 family style homes. Each
includes about 10 orphans and one “mother”. By hiring ODW student
workers and paying them a wage of $7.00 an hour, you will be helping
support these children in their homes and beyond. Please email
hanoverodw@gmail.com or visit hanoverodw.blogspot.com and click on the Employer Form link to download the form if you are interested. Please send forms via email (hanoverodw@gmail.com) or snail mail to:
Hanover ODW c/o Sonya Gurwitt, 534 Hawk Pine Rd, , Norwich, VT 05055 before April 15th. Thank you for your support!
