We had a great turn-out this morning with about 20 gardeners. We put up the fences around the garden in an hour and a half. Thanks to William for setting everything up, and to Viva for the scones. Thanks also to William for refinishing the benches.

Here is the graph showing the past 2 years of weather at the garden. There was a lot less snow than usual – only 20″ this past winter, the lowest in 15 years.
It’s that time again. We will gather at the garden on Saturday, April 30 at 9 am, install the deer fencing and hoses, clean up the grounds a bit (in keeping with Green Up Day) and enjoy snacks. Rain date is Sunday, May 1 at 9 am.
Please bring your work gloves and your ideas for the new season. If you haven’t had a chance to pay your garden fee, please bring your check made out to Kathy Tefft (Hanover Community Gardens). The full plot fee is $40 and the half is $20.
